Steffanie Kelshaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Vermont. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University. Steffanie has worked with adolescents and adults. Her experience includes work in a university mental health facility, outpatient substance abuse clinics, and a residential substance abuse facility. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and member of the American Counseling Association. Most importantly, she is dedicated to delivering premier care to her clients.
Steffanie Kelshaw’s passion is helping those who battle with different emotional difficulties and many of life’s daily struggles. She has counseled clients through the experiences of grief and loss, family and marital discord, stress, anger, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and anxiety. Her approach has been to work together with her clients to develop treatment plans that improve healing, self-efficacy, motivation, and success. She also works with clients to become aware of how substance abuse has become a self-destructive coping strategy for them.
